Formerly Shree B.B. Shah Inter College | Established on 9th Magh 2015 B.S. (Shree Panchami)
🏛️ Foundation & Establishment
Established as Shree B.B. Shah Inter College in Bharatpur, Dang, on 9th Magh 2015 B.S., it aimed to produce enlightened manpower and provide higher education.
Approved by the Ministry of Education on 29th Asadh 2016 B.S. The foundation stone was laid by King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah on 14th Poush 2016 B.S.
Credit of establishment goes to Mr. Damodar Sharma Ghimire, Secretary of the Board of Directors and resident of Ghanibagia.
📚 Early Days of Teaching
No separate building – classes ran on the upper floor of Padmodaya Public Namuna Secondary School.
Started with 5 students including Yagya Wahadur Vudathoki, Kaushal Chandra Subedi, Bhupalayogi.
Same teachers taught in both the high school and the college.
One principal for both institutions.
Classes were in the morning, benefiting working professionals.
🚀 Major Milestones
2028 B.S.: New building inaugurated by Rapti Zone Anchalidhas Mr. Nand Bahadur Malla.
2030 B.S.: Came under Tribhuvan University after new national education system.
2033 B.S.: Graduation level studies approved; inaugurated by TU VC Mr. Surya Bahadur Shakya.
2033–2036 B.S.: B-Level program for in-service teachers.
2044–2046 B.S.: Management programs started (Proficiency & Graduation).
2046–2048 B.S.: IL & BL programs (later merged with MMC Nepalgunj in 2063).
2057–2067 B.S.: MA in Political Science, English, and Nepali started.
2062 B.S.: BSc. program under IOST began.
2065 B.S.: B.Ed. (3-year, later 4-year) program started.
2070/71 B.S.: MBS program introduced.
2077 B.S.: BBA semester program launched.
2078 B.S.: BSc. CSIT program launched.
🏗️ Campus Buildings & Development
First single-floor building built (2025–2027 B.S.).
Additional rooms built in 2032/33 B.S. with financial aid.
Library & Sports building constructed in 2037 B.S. (Rs. 2,25,000 fund from Dang residents).
Statue of King Mahendra installed with District Panchayat support.
Saraswati Temple established by Yagya Kumari Gyawali.
Administrative Building constructed in 2036 B.S. (Inaugurated by PM Surya Bahadur Thapa).
Gradual expansion with TU and other organizational support.
👥 Board of Directors (At Establishment)
Key members included Rapti Anchaladhis (President), Damodar Sharma (Secretary), Gajaraj Sharma (Asst. Secretary), and representatives from education committees and local communities.
